CUMBA JARS AND THERMAL WATERS EL ALMENDRAL
Very picturesque geological formation, it consists of an erosion of the mother rock caused by the waters that flow in the stream, which has given it a striking character in species of giant jars of pure rock. They are located in the District of Cumba, they have eight natural jars and one artificial one that apparently was built for the purpose of storing water for its canalization. The erosion of the rocks reaches a depth of up to five meters. The journey is full of picturesque landscapes, this makes it an ideal place to visit.
On the way back we will enjoy the El Almendal hot springs, which is located approximately 25 minutes from Jaén. It has two modest pools of tempered water, one with compositions of sulfur and the other of iron, with temperatures from 35º to 45º, which are born from three springs. The water that nourishes the pools of El Almendral is recommended to alleviate ailments rheumatic, relieve stress and treat skin problems, thanks to its composition of iron and sulfur. You can also enjoy the Marañón River.
